Buildings
Cover is provided for an extensive list of perils such as fire,
storm, flood, theft, etc. (See policy summary for full
details).
In addition, cover is provided for:
- Alternative accommodation or loss of hiring charges following
an insured loss
- Accidental damage (only if accidental damage is shown on
policy)
- Damage caused by emergency access
- Costs of tracing and accessing leaks (up to £50,000)
Contents
Cover is provided for an extensive list of perils such as fire,
storm, flood, theft, etc. (See policy summary for full
details)
In addition, cover is provided for:
- Accidental damage (only if accidental damage is shown on
policy)
- Contents temporarily removed from the home
- Contents in outbuildings
- Garden ornaments and furniture (up to £750)
- Loss of domestic fuel and metered water (up to £1000)
Liability
- Public liability up to £5 million
- Employers liability up to £10 million
Excess
- £250 standard excess for each claim
- £500 standard excess for water escape claims
- £1,000 standard excess for subsidence claims (Increased
excesses may apply)
Increased excesses may be applied depending on individual
circumstances, for example in the case of a poor claims history.
